ArbayExports was founded by Bayram Karatay and Ares Karasu with a shared vision to transform the coffee supply chain. Bayram Karatay, a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Boston, brings over 12 years of customer service and operations experience from his tenure at Starbucks in Boston. Ares Karasu, based in Brazil for more than two decades, offers a strong background in international trade and digital marketing.

The idea for ArbayExports was born during a business trip to Brazil, where Bayram and Ares identified a gap in the market: the need for a transparent and efficient platform connecting coffee roasters directly with farmers. Since its inception two years ago, ArbayExports has been committed to building a marketplace that empowers roasters to source premium-quality beans at competitive prices—while enabling farmers to access global markets directly.
